Central Oregon’s Premier Sign Company now with Two Locations to Serve You in Bend and Redmond
March 8, 2016 Bend, Ore ⎯ Mike and Cindy Smith, owners of M.C. Smith Sign and Graphics, have announced the sale of the sign company they established in 1975 in Bend,
Oregon. The Smiths over the years have created superior signage for local businesses and have been active participants in the Bend community and city government boards. “I’ve been thinking about slowing down for the last 2 years and finally decided to take the leap into retirement. I wanted to make sure my business, customers and employees were left in good hands. Brent and Judy Grenfell of Dana Signs and I have been acquainted through the years and he has built a similar reputation for quality and service. I decided to make the call to him and the next thing you know it’s a done deal”, says Mike.
Although the sale was finalized the first of the year, both companies will operate individually and there will be no change of the company names.
Brent Grenfell says, “What we want is for the combined expertise of both shops in the dif- ferent phases and types of sign making to produce superior products for the businesses in Bend, Redmond, Central Oregon and beyond. Our commitment is to strive to access the best in technology and to produce quality products on time. We want to continue the great things that Mike Smith has done over the years”.
The mission of both Dana Signs and M.C. Smith Sign and Graphics is to create raving fans one at a time by assisting their customers in establishing a high quality identity while pro- viding unique, enduring and superior signs and related products that exceed their expecta- tions.
The values for both companies is to provide exceptional service to customers above all else, have fanatical attention to consistency and detail, have excellence in reputation, being part of something special and to be hardworking and productive while encouraging indi- vidual ability and creativity. We feel that by doing our jobs to the best of our abilities we can make a significant contribution to what makes Central Oregon a great place to live.
